Be light.

Based on Jesus’ command in Matthew 5.16 to let our light shine before others so they may see our good deeds and praise our Father in heaven, Project516 is an intentional effort to share His love by serving and loving our community.  Whereas this “Project516″ mindset is encouraged in our daily, individual lives, organized projects are made available to be involved with.  Project516 is sponsored by the Unleashed Student Ministry.

Project516: Adopt-a-School

Church Unleashed @ Beulah has begun an official partnership with Horrell Hill Elementary School.  Join in the fun by volunteering to serve the children, teachers, staff, and administration of our local elementary school!

Project516: USM Student Involvement

USM student involvement in Project516 has included volunteering in the local children’s home, feeding the local high school football team, volunteering at the elementary school carnival, collecting canned goods for the hungry, adopting families for Christmas, visiting the local nursing home, and passing out free bottled water at various spots in the community.  Projects such as these, and more, are regularly organized and can be found on the Unleashed Student Calendar at the bottom of the Unleashed Student Ministry page.  The calendar is constantly updated, so keep checking for the newest Project516 student opportunities.
